Mumbai : As we witness massive outrage among Indian citizens after petrol and diesel prices hiked like sky rocket, scourging the common man’s pocket, there are few netizens who have been digging out old messages and videos when celebrities and politicians condemned previous UPA government on fuel prices but have remained silent against present BJP government.
Among many, Akshay Kumar had also critisized previous government for petrol price hike in 2012. He tweeted “Guys I think it’s time to clean up your bicycles and hit the roads! As per sources, expecting another petrol price hike ” [sic]
However, Akshay Kumar deleted the tweet after it went viral, leaving many to critisize him further more.
There are few other older tweets criticising petrol price, which haven’t been deleted yet by Khiladi Kumar.
Couldn't even get to my house at nite for all of Mumbai was queuing up for #petrol before the prices rocketed again.
