Bollywood based Indian actor, Vivek Oberoi, like many other big celebrities such as, Akshay Kumar and Nana Patekar has been actively involved in philanthropic activities for the last fourteen years.
Vivek Oberoi after adopting a village in Andhra Pradesh has still been generous in lending a helping hand to the families of Central Reserve Police Force(CRPF) Bravehearts, who laid their lives for the Nation. A recent report claims that Vivek Oberoi’s organisation KARRAM infrastructure Pvt.Ltd has donated 25 flats to the families of CRPF Martyrs in Thane, Maharashtra.
The report further read that Vivek Oberoi’s company has written a letter to the CRPF fraternity announcing the flats to the kin of the martyrs who lost their lives in different operations serving the Nation. The soldiers belonged to 219 battalion and they lost their lives in Chattisgarh’s Sukma district after a group of Naxals’ ambushed a road opening party (ROP) in the area’s Bheji village on Saturday March 11, 2017.
Vivek Oberoi made the offer in a letter written to the CRPF last week, but details of the allotted flats were not immediately available. Four flats have already been given to the families. The organization has released a list of the families that have allotted the flat and the remaining list will be released soon.
