Meerut : A Meerut based CBSE affiliated school has come up with a list of orders for its 2,800 students, from Class I to XII. Order include hair cut, food and Love.
The school in its order has asked students to get hairstyles like CM Yogi Adityanath, saying no to beards. they justify this act and say. the school was “not a madrasas where people offer namaz”, and a blanket prohibition on non-vegetarian food and forced gender segregation to “prevent love jihad” was ordered.
The matter came to light and media yesterday(Thursday) when school authority didn’t allowed some students to enter Rishabh Academy Co-Educational English Medium School because they did not have proper haircuts.
Ranjeet Jain, secretary, management committee, of the school said, “I asked the students to get Yogi-like haircuts, when they were unable to understand what we wanted. We basically want very short haircuts, of the kind the Army gives. Also, the students have been told strictly to not keep beards as this is not a madrasas or a place where they come to offer namaz.”
This Jain school also encourage gender discrimination by making boys and girls study in separate classrooms. “This is being done for the safety of girls and to prevent love jihad they say. According to them Muslim boys take on names similar to Hindus, befriend girls, tie ‘kalavas’ on their wrists and try to woo girls.” The school secretary said, “I cannot tolerate this in school premises. Moreover, these days nobody likes if a boy from one community touches a girl from another community,”.
Parents have already started taking this order offensive and lodged complaint with the police. Senior district police official in Meerut has said that they are looking into the matter and will take appropriate action, reported Deccan Herald.
Quoting sources, the report says that the parents were also contemplating to move the court against the school’s diktat.
