Karnataka : Gali Janardhana Reddy is in trouble again after lavish wedding of his daughter, with his name being mentioned in a suicide note left by Ramesh Gowda, driver of a Karnataka Administrative Service (KAS) officer. Gowda accused Reddy of converting Rs 100 crore black money into white, with the help of the officer.

Gowda further alleged that Reddy paid a 20 per cent commission to the KAS office for the job, news agency ANI tweeted.

The suicide note claims that apart from asking for the 20 per cent commision, the KAS office also asked Reddy to help him get a ticket to contest the 2018 Karnataka elections, reports CNN-News 18.

The letter contains other allegations against Ramesh’s employer Bhima Naik. It says Naik also met B Sriramulu, BJP MP from Bellary and a close associate of Janardhan Reddy.

The mining baron, who spent three years and four months in prison, is out on on conditional bail in graft cases related to the multi-crore mining scam in Andhra Pradesh and his home state. He was in news last month for his daughter’s lavish marriage function.

Reports had claimed that Reddy spent Rs 500 crore on his daughter Bramhani’s wedding on November 16.
