New Delhi : It seems there is no importance of protocols for our rule breaker Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He has broken several protocols in last 2 and half years, from receiving guests personally at airports to surprise visit to Pakistan on PM Shareef’s Birthday which breaks diplomatic protocol.

But this time PM Modi broken protocol repeatedly on  this year’s 68th Indian Republic Day.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi walked into crowd which breaks the Protocol

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday walked down at the Rajpath to greet citizens during the 68th Republic Day celebrations here, yet again breaking away from tradition.

This is the second time when Prime Minister Modi walked down the Rajpath. He did the same last year on the occasion of Republic Day.

Meanwhile he also rendered Republic Day salutes along with President Pranab Mukherjee breaking the salutation rules of Flag Code . According to the Flag Code of India, Section VI, only those in uniform may ‘render the appropriate salute’.

During the ceremony of hoisting or lowering the flag or when the flag is passing in a parade or in a review, all persons present should face the flag and stand at attention. Those present in uniform should render the appropriate salute… A dignitary may take the salute without a head dress,” the section states.

Earlier in 2015 Republic Day Vice President Hamid Ansari was abused online by right wing supporters.

The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, was the chief guest of the occasion and was accompanied by a delegation of ministers.

A major attraction of this year’s parade was a 149-member UAE contingent led by Lt Col Abood Musabeh Abood Musabeh Alghfeli, consisting of the UAE Presidential Guard, the Air Force, the Navy and Army contingent led by a UAE band consisting of 35 musicians marching on Rajpath and presenting a ceremonial salute to President Pranab Mukherjee.
