Pune : AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi has been denied permission to hold public rally in Pune by City Police. Police claimed his speeches are communal and there could be a threat to his life. However MIM Chief called it as unwarranted because he already held massive public rally earlier in 2015 without any troublesome incident,  also two rallies were held

Asaduddin Owaisi tweeted to Pune Police requesting them to reconsider their decision and asked police to impose conditions on him and if he violates any then they can arrest him. He also said he is ready to police security.

Asaduddin Owaisi’s party had notched up impressive wins in some pockets of Vidarbha, Marathwada and north Maharashtra in the municipal council polls in the state last November. In a bid to enhance its footprint, the AIMIM has fielded candidates for several seats in the upcoming polls too.
