Hyderabad : In a bizarre crime of bestiality, 22-year-old man has been arrested in south Hyderabad for allegedly having unnatural sex with a dog who was found dead.

The suspect has told the police that he moved from Delhi two days ago to work as a daily wager. He was spotted in some bushes this morning by neighbours in his act of bestiality.

The dog was a stray who was fed and looked after by different families in the neighbourhood.

The police say Aslam Khan does not appear mentally disturbed.

“These incidents expose the violent nature of human beings and it’s high time we arrest such actions. Such perpetrators must be brought to book so we can set precedence for future wrong doers,” said Animal Rights Activist NG Jayasimha.

This case comes few months after two medical students in Chennai threw a dog from the roof and filmed its fall in July, also in same month few juveniles burnt alive puppies in Hyderabad which witnessed outrage through out the country.

But what makes even more bizarre and disturbing that few right wings trolls used this heinous crime to blame the whole Muslim community with Anti-Muslim, Xenophobic and irrational comments on social media soon after finding the name of culprit.

Unbelievably anti-Muslim comments started doing the rounds pegged on this incident. It seemed many on Twitter just needed an excuse, any excuse, to vent their communal vitriol.

While Aslam Khan’s crime obviously is heinous and bizarre, the hindutva lots also proved that they do not have any sympathy with the victim dog but only hate for particular community and religion.
