According to source, Three persons were lynched brutally and two others were burnt alive in Uttar Pradesh’s Rae Bareli during clash between two groups, on Monday night, the indent took place just few hours before CM Yogi Adityanath hailed performance of his government that completed 100 days.
The clash at the district’s Etaura Bujurg was the result of a long-drawn animosity between village head Ram Shri Yadav and his bête noire Rohit Shukla, police said.
“Six persons, including Yadav’s three sons have been detained in connection with the incident and police has been deployed in the village to ensure peace” SP Upadhyay (Deputy Superintendent of police) said.
When crime rate has been grown repeatedly in Uttar Paradesh since new government has taken over, CM Yogi told addressing reporters in Lucknow “We are satisfied with the work we have done in the first 100 days of our government,” and he unveiled a booklet ‘100 Din Vishwas Ke”, highlighting his government’s achievements.
