Humans of Hindutva‘ the parody page which gained massive popularity for its brilliant satire which routinely attempts to riff off current events to highlight, politics, casteism, moral policing, attacks by the gau rakshaks and other aspects of Hindutva ideology has come up with another blasting post which has gone viral now.

Screen shot from the movie ‘The Darjeeling Limited’ (2007) which goes well with the satire post.

This time, the page administrator takes on Indian tourism vs Hindutva culture, how both cannot coexist was the main point. This is comes after newly appointed Tourism Minister K J Alphons said ‘Eat beef in your country and then come to India‘ when reporters asked him about threats from Gau Rakshaks regarding beef.

Read the post below which we took from the page

“Welcome to India, the most tolerant country in the world.”

“Is it really? Yesterday I asked some people where I can find beef and they beat me up.”

“Oh yeah, about that. Our tourism department wants tourists to have beef in their countries and then come to India.”

“Strange because I have heard so much about Kerala beef fry. OK can I drink at a nightclub?”

“For some reason you came to Gujarat so our tourism department wants tourists to drink in other states and then come to Gujarat.”

“Thank God we are going to Goa next. Can’t wait to party.”

“Goa has become a BJP territory against its wishes. Now partying is against our culture. Our tourism department wants you to party in your own country before coming to India.”

“Damn I wish I knew all this before I came here. Can you tell me where we can talk to some Indian girls and maybe dance with them?”

“Dancing with girls is against Indian culture. Tourism department wants tourists to dance with girls in their countries before coming to India.”

“Can’t I take a woman up to my hotel room?”

“Your hotel won’t allow it and will assume she is a prostitute. Tourism department wants you to have sex in your country before coming to India.”

“No I mean like romance. Surely I can visit her apartment if we fall in love?”

“Her housing society won’t allow it and will assume she is a prostitute. Housing societies want you to romance elsewhere in India before coming to their building.”

“We have a female companion joining us on our trip. How can she keep safe?”

“Tourism department wants female travellers to have safety in their country and then come to India.”

“All this sounds so boring. Can you tell us how we can have some fun on our trip across India.”

“Fun is against Indian culture. Tourism department wants you to have fun in your country before coming to India.”

“Wow India is so fu*king Incredible. Just one more question.”

“Sure go ahead. Hospitality is in our blood and traditions. For us guest is equivalent to God.”

“When is the next flight to Thailand?”

This post since then recieved more than 10,000 reactions and over 2,000 shares on Facebook.
